It’s that time of year again! I’ll be exhibiting several large canvases this year at the Weisman Museum of Art in Malibu, California. The canvases are all based loosely on my collection of watercolors, which were inspired by my travels abroad. For those of you who would like to see the show, details are as follows:
May 3-6, 2011
Frederick R. Weisman Museum of Art
24255 Pacific Coast Hwy
Malibu, CA 90263
Museum Hours: Open Tuesday – Friday, 11 AM to 5 PM
(There is no admission charge.)
Thursday May 5, 12:00-1:30p.m.
Many of you have inquired about purchasing art prints, and I’m pleased to announce that I have recently launched my artist store at gaylewheatley.com/store! Archival fine art giclée prints are now available through Society6, and prices start at only $24.95!
So far I’ve got 9 pieces of art in the store, and I’ll be adding most of my collection of Iceland Abstracted watercolor paintings gradually, as well as most of my Emotional Landscapes oil paintings, and more. (If there is a specific piece of artwork you would like to buy a print of, let me know and I may be able to get that up in the store sooner.)
As always, original paintings are also for sale. I now have a fancy artist catalog you can browse through and download, which features my latest artwork, artist info, and more. This can be found in my store as well.
Finally, thank you to each of you for your interest in my art! It’s truly an honor that so many of you have purchased or expressed interest in my art.
