Just finished up illustrating a whole world of wild plants and flowers for Whole Life Times Magazine’s feature article, “Weeding Out the Good,” about medicinally nutritious plants in nature…my illustration will be featured on pages 26-27 of the April issue, which can be picked up all around Los Angeles at spas, whole foods markets, restaurants, and other health-conscious locales. My illustrations can now be purchased as large format posters and art canvases through PosterLounge, a company based in Germany. To visit my online shop directly, please click HERE
The site is in German and English, but I can’t get over how cool the German descriptions sound: [aqua bar Mit Henna bemalten Armen und orientalischem Schmuck wird in der Aqua Bar abgetanzt... This must be "Underwater Love"!]
Wow! Anything with “Underwater Love”! just sounds fantastic!
Welcome to my painting blog where I will soon be posting daily paintings. I will be working on a painting a day roughly. In the meantime, before I am up and running, please feel free to visit my online portfolio at http://www.gaylewheatley.com

Currently I’m working on cartoon-izing each band member of the West London based band “The Lucky”. So far I’ve illustrated Richard Evans (top) and Tim Marsden (bottom).

“The Lucky are a four-piece band that blends a British pop sensibility and gorgeous harmonies with the classic sounds of Americana and an instinct for strong storytelling through heartfelt lyrics”

I am in the process of illustrating the cover for the next Whole Life Times magazine, be on the lookout!
